Sovietborn American cellist and conductor Slava Rostropovich (Mstislav Rostropovich), artistic director of the National Symphony Orchestra of Washington, playing the cello accompanied by the Turin RAI Orchestra during the rehearsals for a concert at Teatro La Fenice. The same evening Slava Rostropovich will receive the prize Una vita nella musica. Venice, 31st August 1984.
