ZeroG Airbus aircraft. Artwork of the ZeroG Airbus 300 aeroplane used by the European Space Agency for freefall training and science experiments. This aircraft is operated by Novespace, a subsidiary of the French space agency CNES. The aircraft is flown to high altitudes (around 7000 metres) above the Bay of Biscay, and is placed in a parabolic trajectory that produces 20 seconds of freefall conditions. The parabolic trajectory and a freefalling human is shown on the aircrafts tail. Several flights are flown annually, with around 30 parabolas flown in a single day. This aircraft has been in use for these flights since 1996.
