Cassinis radio antenna (white, at upper left) is also seen. Once released from Cassini, Huygens will enter the atmosphere of Titan and carry instruments down to its surface. Cassini will orbit Saturn for four years, and will study the planet, its rings, and its moons. Cassini is due to be launched in October 1997 and is expected to reach Saturn in July 2004. The Huygens probe will enter Titans atmosphere in November 2004.
