This premium giclee print, an upgrade from the standard giclee print, is produced on thick (310 gsm), textured watercolor paper made from alpha cellulous wood pulp that is acid free. It shares the same vivid colors, accuracy, and exceptional resolution that make giclee prints the standard for museums and galleries around the world. Giclee (French for "to spray") is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto a highquality paper. The smooth transitions of color gradients make giclee prints appear much more realistic than other prints.
Published May 25, 1929Patterned summer dresses placed against a graphic black- and-white background make this work, which appeared in the May 25, 1929, Vogue, quite striking. From left: a crepe de Chine dress by Lyolene; a georgette crepe dress by Cyber; a crepe de Chine dress and bolero by Claire Soeurs; and a belted crepe de Chine dress by Juliette Courtisien. Lambarri places the models in varying depths of field, which adds to this illustration's already sizable punch.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands.
