This premium giclee print, an upgrade from the standard giclee print, is produced on thick (310 gsm), textured watercolor paper made from alpha cellulous wood pulp that is acid free. It shares the same vivid colors, accuracy, and exceptional resolution that make giclee prints the standard for museums and galleries around the world. Giclee (French for "to spray") is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto a highquality paper. The smooth transitions of color gradients make giclee prints appear much more realistic than other prints.
Published July 15, 1922Few may realize that Vogue featured articles on period costumes, with illustrations by artist Claire Avery, who provided, from 1921 to 1934, a beautiful array of looks—from Ancient Egyptian to Edwardian. One such example is this drawing, which appeared in the July 15, 1922, Vogue. With a long, narrow, and snug-fitting doublet, this example of Elizabethan men's fashion appears more feminine than earlier styles seen during King Henry VIII's reign.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands.
