This premium giclee print, an upgrade from the standard giclee print, is produced on thick (310 gsm), textured watercolor paper made from alpha cellulous wood pulp that is acid free. It shares the same vivid colors, accuracy, and exceptional resolution that make giclee prints the standard for museums and galleries around the world. Giclee (French for "to spray") is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto a highquality paper. The smooth transitions of color gradients make giclee prints appear much more realistic than other prints.
Published July 15, 1921A woman in a frothy pink ball gown dashes down a grand outdoor staircase, presumably during an evening party. She holds out her arms as if to catch something about to fly by. Multiple fabric blooms and petals adorn her gown, echoed by the red rose and petal at her feet. Her cropped hairstyle and ankle-strap pumps suggest 1920s fashions and, indeed, this vintage fashion illustration, by Harriet Meserole, appeared on the July 15, 1921, cover of Vogue.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands.
