This premium giclee print, an upgrade from the standard giclee print, is produced on thick (310 gsm), textured watercolor paper made from alpha cellulous wood pulp that is acid free. It shares the same vivid colors, accuracy, and exceptional resolution that make giclee prints the standard for museums and galleries around the world. Giclee (French for "to spray") is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto a highquality paper. The smooth transitions of color gradients make giclee prints appear much more realistic than other prints.
Published January 1, 1923A stunningly clad opera aficionada has captured Georges Lepape's attention in this illustration, which appeared in the January 1, 1923, Vogue. Her crimson double-faced lamé gown is worn over a gold slip, and the wrap at her waist is artfully draped to display a gold backing. This daring choice appears even more so when contextualized by more traditional (and conservative) ball gowns, like the lavender example shown in the foreground.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands.
