This premium giclee print, an upgrade from the standard giclee print, is produced on thick (310 gsm), textured watercolor paper made from alpha cellulous wood pulp that is acid free. It shares the same vivid colors, accuracy, and exceptional resolution that make giclee prints the standard for museums and galleries around the world. Giclee (French for "to spray") is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto a highquality paper. The smooth transitions of color gradients make giclee prints appear much more realistic than other prints.
Published August 3, 1929Jean Pagès captures a successful fashion moment in this illustration, which appeared in the August 3, 1929, Vogue. Set against a cityscape, three women sport the chicest looks available. From left: a tweed dress with a separate shoulder cape by London Trades; a jersey dress with attached shoulder cape by Chanel, and a tweed double-breasted coat by Schiaparelli. Gathering looks from three legendary designers in one work is a rare accomplishment indeed.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands.
