Two U.S. paratroopers squat in tall elephant grass and look toward the area where sniper fire was heard during landing operations in Vietnam's D Zone north of Saigon November 8, 1965. Paratrooper on the left is Donald Gennett. The helicopters that landed them move low and fast away from the jungle clearing. The sniper fire ceased after a few moments and the 173rd Airborne Brigade moved into the jungle to search out enemy camps and hideouts.
