Torus. Computer model of the threedimensional projection (or shadow) of a 4dimensional torus, a mathematical shape. The projection is partially transparent to show the intersecting structure. The torus does not actually pass through itself in the fourth dimension. The intersecting structure results from viewing it in only three dimensions. This model was created as an artwork by Professor Eric Heller.
