Photograph showing the constellation Lyra the Harp Lyra is a northern hemisphere constellation lying just above the galactic plane The dominant star in this image is Vega alphaLyrae Running toward bottom left of Vega are zetaLyrae and the double star deltaLyrae Just above bottom centre are two haloed stars gammaLyrae left and betaLyrae Near Vega toward oclock is epsilonLyrae which although appearing as a close binary in this image is a quadruple star About half way from Vega to the left centre edge of the frame are thetaLyrae lower and etaLyrae The haloes around some of the stars are photographic effects
