Young women who wear crinoline, under the pretense of looking out for a husband, are (apparently) really seeking the provisions and comforts of a good home a quiet little cheese to nibble at. As she sits quietly, fan in hand, her dress is transformed into a large cheese, while the quiet little creature herself evolves into a mouse...that eats the cheese...with a knife, evolved from her fan.
