  • Lush plants adorning a warmly colored terrace provide a striking contrast to rugged mountains and cool blue waters in Carl Frederik Aagaard’s “Lodge on Lake Como.” Originally from Denmark, Aagaard (1833 – 1895) first studied art with his brother, a glass engraver. He later studied with many famous artists, including landscape oil painter Peter Kristian Skoovgaard. One of Copenhagen’s most influential Golden Age artists, Aagaard was commissioned to paint the chapel of King Christian IV.
This wall tapestry will add a touch of old world charm to your décor. Made in the USA by skilled artisans using Jacquard looms, tapestries are created from pure cotton yarn. An iron rod and finial are included with the brackets and hardware for easy and elegant hanging.
