Kilnasaggart cross an inscribed pillar This is the oldest datable Christian monument in Ireland One one side it bears ten crosses each inscribed in a circle in relief and on the other is a barely legible inscription in Irish It reads that Ternonc son of Ceran commerated this place under the patronage of Peter the Apostle th century
