Giclee Print

The mechanical Jacquard loom was a device for weaving textiles invented in 184 by the French weaver and inventor Joseph Marie Jacquard (17521834). It had a number of novel design features and was the first to be automatically controlled. It was controlled by a number of perforated cards, the holes corresponding to the weave pattern. When the loom was introduced into factories, there were riots among workers who feared losing their jobs.

The Print

With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.
