Fight between a Tiger and a Buffalo, 1908, by Henri Rousseau, 1844-1910, French painting, oil on canvas. A tiger holds an wild buffalo by the neck in a tropical jungle. The self-taught artist and retired customs inspector, was appreciated for his originality and the naïve purity of his painting.
