Original caption: 7/01/1946-Bikini- This picture was made by ACME photographer Harry Leder from a B-29 flying at 6500 feet from a distance of about 17 miles, was made within five seconds from the time the July 1st atomic bomb exploded over the target fleet at Bikini. Photo shows a fully formed "fireball" which is really a vapor cloud formed from the intense heat within.
