Bluefooted booby (Sula nebouxii) feet on a rock. The blue feet of this seabird are used in courtship displays. The bluefooted booby is found on the Pacific coasts of Central America and northern South America, and on nearby islands. It eats fish, catching its prey by plungediving into shoals from above. It nests in small colonies on islands, laying its eggs directly on the ground. Photographed in the Galapagos Islands.
