A Sadhu at Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu. Sadhus are wandering ascetic Yogis whove given up worldly possessions in pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. Theyre quite common in Kathmandu and most commonly seen wearing very simple clothing, if any at all, with colorful paint on their faces and dreadlocks. Even though theyve given up worldly possessions, they still have to eat so from what I saw, they spent a good amount of time hustling tourists for money for taking pictures of them. I managed to catch one as he was just relaxing and waiting for the next group of tourists.
