Intense colors and energy surge through Laurie Maitland’s “Symphony in Red and Khaki II.” Using nature’s vibrant yet rustic colors in creating the work’s dramatic contrasts, Maitland also draws inspiration from her early theatrical influences. Raised in Portsmouth, Maitland studied life drawing, set design and photography in London. She currently helps manage Naked Art Publishing and paints full time. Pairs powerfully with “Symphony in Red and Khaki I.” This fine art print is produced on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, using post-consumer and sustainably sourced paper, and soy-based inks.
