Gene Simmons

Exhaling eruptions of flames, spitting blood, lewdly wagging his lengthy tongue and terrorizing parents is just another day in the life of demonic KISS bassist extraordinaire, Gene Simmons. Born in Israel and raised in Queens, New York, by his Holocaust survivor mother, he gigged in several local bands, taught elementary school in Spanish Harlem and assisted the editor of “Vogue” before co-founding the Hottest Band in the World in 1973. Jet-propelled to superstardom, Simmons rocks and rolls all night, but has never partied a single day, preferring to get high from his own flamboyant antics.
