Alain Dumas paints cascades of golden light that pour like fine wine over dreamlike female nudes. Born in France, Dumas hails from an artistic, Bohemian family—his father was a traveling salesman and his mother was once a showgirl. Raised in a liberal environment, Dumas was encouraged to be outgoing and confident, and to freely follow his artistic muse. Most of his artwork is comprised of tastefully provocative nudes. Dumas’ ability to persuade women to pose naked for him inspired a novel written by his older brother.
This fine art print has been embellished with gold foil.
