Like a magic carpet, Michele Burgess’ photography whisked her from an office cubicle to exotic worldwide destinations. While employed as a secretary, Burgess received a professional camera and a trip to Kenya and Tanzania from her parents. Her passion for travel and photography kindled, Burgess became a photojournalist, combining guided tours with her photographic expeditions. In the past 22 years, Burgess has visited 101 countries on every continent, and has contributed 160 articles to travel and wildlife magazines.
