The commandant of the concentration camp SS Captain Johann Baptist Eichelsdorfer, who was responsible for the murder of hundreds of prisoners, stands amidst the corpses after he was captured when trying to escape in civilians clothing in Landsberg, west of Munich, Germany, in May 1945. The Lt. Col. of the 12th Armoured Division rounded up 200 German civilians and forced them to dig graves and to tour the camp to witness the crimes committed.
