Legendary designer Bill Blass made his name outfitting New York's most stylish. In this image, three such women take to the streets in Blass fare. A gray silk dress, a navy-and-white striped trench coat, and a full-cut navy frock all attest to Blass's mastery of the art of tailoring. The photograph, by Sal Traina, appeared in the November 1976 W magazine.
