    Two models pose on the deck of the cruise ship Lurline, the expanse of the Pacific Ocean behind them, bound for Hawaii. The seated one wears a striped tank top and white shorts with black stripes running down the sides. The other sports a white ankle-length dress and a hat and holds a large tote bag. The relaxing peek into a long-ago era, photographed by Edward Steichen, appeared in the July 15, 1934, Vogue.
