Norman Parkinson was a prominent British fashion photographer who peppered his work with humor and high spirits. Parkinson (1913 – 1990) photographed some of the most celebrated men and women in fashion and high society, and pioneered the on-location shoot. He originally provided photos for leaflets dropped in occupied Europe, and was a photographer for “Harper’s Bazaar” and “The Bystander.” Parkinson worked for British and American “Vogue” for nearly four decades, and also created famous calendars featuring glamorous women.
This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using a digital or offset lithography press.
