A charming, casual French aesthetic flows through many of Susan Gillette’s artworks. From her whimsical interpretations of beloved French landmarks to pretty tapestry-inspired designs to playful depictions of balls and game pieces, Gillette has fun re-interpreting shapes and forms in inventive ways. Born into an extremely creative family, Gillette holds a BFA in printmaking and worked for seven years with accomplished a woodcut artist, lithographer and master etcher which strongly influences her artistic vision. She makes her home in the Southwest.
