Eumecichthys fiski (Günther, 1890). Crestfishes’ ribbon-like bodies contain up to 200 vertebrae and have a soft-rayed dorsal fin with nearly 400 rays. The “horn” of the unicorn crestfish is formed by a protrusion of the skull, capped with a forward extension of the dorsal fin. Size of specimen: 62 centimeters (24 inches)
