    Bob Masse’s bold colors and elaborate designs take a cutting-edge twist in his concert poster, “Tool.” While studying art in Vancouver, Masse traded his concert poster artwork for free tickets, drinks and the chance to meet musicians. Becoming a leading psychedelic artist, Masse designed album covers and concert posters from the 1960s through today, many of which are considered collectors items.
    A rock n’ roll legend in his own right, Canada’s Bob Masse has been creating highly collectible concert posters since the ‘60’s as one of the pioneers of the psychedelic art movement. Masse’s works reveal his penchant for art nouveau, and the particular influence of Alphonse Mucha. Beyond the usual techniques of the era, his distinctive color palette, unique lettering style, and bold composition form his signature style on posters for the Grateful Dead, and The Doors, to today’s hottest artists such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Smashing Pumpkins.
    This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy.
