Born in Argentina and relocating to California in his teens, Alvarez originally worked with electrical circuitry before pursuing his true passions: dancing and painting. Using kinetic brushstrokes which mirrored his prolific work pace, Alvarez’s output became more leisurely after his recent move to rural Spain.
