“Sunflowers,” part of a series representing all the life stages of a sunflower’s bloom, are synonymous with Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh (1853 – 1890). Van Gogh, who said, “The sunflower is mine, in a way,” implemented a unique yellow spectrum using newly invented pigments.
