    Carol Grigg, a self-taught artist who is part Cherokee, draws inspiration from nature and primitive art to provide enlightenment about the Southwest and Native Americans. Reminiscent of art found in ancient caves and Eastern cultures, Grigg creates emotive images of Native Americans, horses and other animals saturated in ethereal watercolor washes. She expresses the love, healing power and spiritual unity found in the relationship of earth, animals, and humans. Grigg, who strives to teach through her art, often creates multiple copies of the same image to broaden the scope of her message.
