Rhythmic colors, undulating lines and soft orbs flow peacefully through Denise Duplock’s artwork. Inspired by colors, patterns and textures, Duplock crafts serene abstracts and silkscreen prints representing contemporary definitions of natural forms. With minimal color palettes in planes of color, Duplock conveys an air of tranquility and balance in her work by creating empty spaces between forms. After attending England’s West Sussex College of Design, Duplock worked in New York before returning to live in England.
Also known as silk screening, serigraphy is a process by which multiple layers of ink are manually pressed through fine screens, resulting in an art print that resembles a painting on paper.
