Jo Crowther preserves life’s precious, fleeting moments in delicate, dreamy sepia tones. During her childhood in Great Britain, constant travel heightened her observation skills and awareness of her surroundings. Recording her daily life through photography and processing and printing her own photos at age 14, Crowther later apprenticed with a respected advertising photographer and then spent 12 years on location and independent shoots. Her photos, inspired by Van Gogh, Turner and Vermeer, present reality from a slightly abstract perspective.
