Nineteenth-century American artist Daniel Ridgway Knight’s (1839 – 1924) paintings reveal the influence of his contemporary, the French Impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Born in Pennsylvania, Knight studied fine art in Pennsylvania and Paris. He is best known as a meticulous artist who painted with a legendary attention to detail. He even built a glass studio where he could observe the changing seasons and effects of light while he worked. Knight's landscapes were highly praised and sought after by collectors of his day.
This fine art print is produced on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, using post-consumer and sustainably sourced paper, and soy-based inks.
