Second Street Drizzle

Carol Jessen’s work captures the moods of cities and landscapes touched by fleeting atmosphere, darkness and light. An artist for 15 years, Jessen attended San Francisco’s Academy of Art. She also studied privately with both William Lansberg and Toshi Yoshida, a master woodblock printmaker in Japan. Adept with oils and pastels, Jessen expresses the tension between content and form in images inspired by her travels through Japan, Asia and Europe. Jessen has exhibited throughout the West Coast, and two of her woodblock prints are exhibited in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s permanent collection.

This finely crafted wall tapestry is made in the USA by skilled artisans, using Jacquard looms and pure cotton yarn. An iron rod and finial are included, in addition to brackets and hardware for easy hanging.
