Fabienne Arietti skillfully uses an Old Masters' technique that makes even her most modern works appear richly traditional. Born in Marseille, France, Arietti has been painting for over two decades, using crushed pigments including 100 layers of marble powder per piece. Utilizing huge formats while she paints on the ground, she layers colors and painstakingly finishes each work with 150 coats of glaze. Arietti, who has painted Africa’s culture and wildlife, is now devoted to scenes of urban life and buildings.
This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using a digital or offset lithography press.
