Julian Corvin’s dreamlike landscapes are a tonic for the soul. A successful artist, Corvin works full-time as a project administrator at Tampa General Hospital. Two of her diffused, multicolored pieces are displayed in one of the hospital’s new buildings. One of the paintings, which is hung near the ER and Trauma Center, includes a Buddhist prayer that Corvin hopes will impart peaceful, healing effects. She believes the desire to help others makes her work more significant, but also uses her art to process her emotions.
