Predominantly labeled a Pop artist and the foremost British artist of the 20th century, David Hockney's wide ranging works are impossible to categorize under one movement. After completing his studies at the Royal College of Art in London, Hockney moved his studio to Los Angeles’ in 1964 and embraced the free-wheeling West Coast lifestyle.
