Immense waves test a lighthouse’s resilience in Jean Guichard’s “Phares dan la Tempete, Kereon.” Maritime photography first sparked Guichard’s interest when he was traveling through the Atlantic and Arctic waters in the military, and he eventually formed his own photo agency to pursue that interest. Although respected for his news photoessays, he is best known for his dramatic lighthouse photography.
