KISS' swaggering, sensual, Paul Stanley was born to be a front man. Flaunting both masculine muscularity and pretty-boy allure, the singer/rhythm guitarist has been whipping audiences into a piranha-like frenzy for nearly 40 years. From Queens, New York, Stanley worked in a deli and played in local bands before co-founding KISS with his musical soul mate, bassist Gene Simmons, in 1973. The band’s main songwriter, Stanley penned many of the adrenalized anthems that hurtled KISS to international superstardom. More than just a pretty face, Stanley was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
