    Exotic shapes cast in gemstone colors form the foundation of Don Li-Leger’s “Passage to India.” Li-Leger’s brilliantly colored works evoke abstraction, and are influenced by his fascination with both art and natural science. Pairs well with “Orchestration.”
    For three decades, acclaimed Canadian artist Don Li-Leger has woven ethereal tales of color, light and texture in a trademark style known as “Asian Fusion.” Influenced by Asian art and Eastern philosophy, Li-Leger richly layers his work with calligraphy, geometric elements and natural forms. Educated in plant ecology, Li-Leger painted British Columbia’s birds and animals until trips to the Orient and North American wildlife sanctuaries reshaped his artistic focus. Inspired by the flowers in his own garden, Li-Leger depicts the profound connection between nature and art.
    This finely crafted wall tapestry is made in the USA by skilled artisans, using Jacquard looms and pure cotton yarn. An iron rod and finial are included, in addition to brackets and hardware for easy hanging.
