Notopogon fernandezianus (Delfin, 1899). Between the bellowsfish’s skull and dorsal (back) fin is a fleshy tuft that is supported by many thin rods of bone. This species lives on continental shelves at depths of 580 meters (1,903 feet). Size of specimen: 19 centimeters (7.5 inches)
