Vito Campanelli’s abstract artworks are an electrified circuit of angular forms, fields of black, threads of dripped paint and potent colors. A Southern Italian, Campanelli grew closer to his art through self-instruction. He was originally a figurative artist who later devoted himself to abstract art. Campanelli was only 17 when he successfully exhibited at Venice’s San Vidal Gallery. His highly chromatic, energetic, expressive works have been displayed in over 60 exhibitions in Italy, and he recently promoted multimedia art shows in Venice.
