Product Information
Richard Diebenkorn (1922 – 1993) was a chameleon who defied artistic customs with perpetual stylistic shifts. Diebenkorn transitioned from Abstraction to figurative works and again to Abstraction, at a time when the art world frowned upon artists it could not pigeonhole. A California resident, Diebenkorn created dynamic, complex figures, and was part of a figurative art renaissance called the Bay Area Movement. He was also the West Coast’s leader of Abstract Expressionism, painting in a distinct, geometric, asymmetrical style. Diebenkorn often drew inspiration for his lyrical work from Mozart and other composers he listened to as he painted. This high-quality art print is expertly produced to capture the vivid color and exceptional detail of the original.
