Ted Goerschner’s work gives off a feeling of quaint villages, gardens and landscapes in softly colored, dreamy luminescence. Originally a housepainter and lobster fisherman, Goerschner earned recognition when he won the 1977 Rockport Art Association’s Gold Medal of Honor and was then featured in “American Artist Magazine.” Goerschner is a teacher, uplifting viewers through inspirational work which incorporates a less-is-more approach that challenges the imagination. Goerschner’s work has won many awards, and has been published in numerous national art magazines.
