Alain Thomas, a French painter who pioneered Primitive Naïve art, creates brilliantly colored, magical worlds populated by scores of exotic animals. This style, in which untrained artists produce charmingly innocent scenes, is the style in which Thomas has used to successfully express himself as an artist for the past 40 years. Thomas has illustrated numerous books, and painted a 1,350 square foot mural fresco of a toucan in Nantes. His work has been featured in magazines, TV shows, and on high-end home décor products.
