An Austin Mini van from the North Lindsey Water Board stands in the car wash at the Coop Garage in Scunthorpe in 1965. The Mini van was made between 1960 and 1982 and proved to be a popular alternative to the car, as it was classed as a commercial vehicle and therefore carried no sales tax. 521,494 were built during its 22 year production run. The car wash was made By Laycock Engineering in Sheffield.
