Marlene Healey’s lush, earth-toned “Levitating Sphere” abounds with iridescent shapes textured like hammered metal and rich marble. Healey’s unplanned abstract images are created from spontaneously layered paint, which developed from her background in fashion and costume design which give her a certain freedom in respect to colors, textures, and composition. Most known for her free flowing art pieces, Healey works in Surrealist, Impressionist and Neoclassical styles.
Hand-transferred to canvas, this art print is wrapped around 1.5" wood stretcher bars and finished with hand-painted chocolate edges.
